REC PLEX OPENING DELAYED

U-W OSHKOSH DELAYS THE OPENING OF ITS NEW ON-CAMPUS RECREATION FACILITY (FRIDAY).  WORK ON THE NEW INTRAMURAL FACILITY WAS SET BACK BY THE APRIL BLIZZARD AND THE HEAVY RAINS THAT HAVE FOLLOWED.  WHEN DONE IT WILL FEATURE ARTIFICiAL TURF FIELDS WITH LIGHTS AND WILL BE COVERED BY AN INFLATABLE DOME DURING THE WINTER.  A RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY WAS SET FOR TOMORROW (FRIDAY)—BUT HAS NOW BEEN PUSHED BACK TO JUNE.
