GREEN BAY SUPERINTENDENT RETIRES

THE GREEN BAY AREA PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT WILL BE RETIRING. MICHELLE LANGENFELD WILL NOT SEEK AN EXTENSION ON HER CONTRACT AND WILL OFFICIALLY RETIRE IN 2020. LANGENFELD BECAME THE FIRST FEMALE TO HOLD THE DISTRICT POSITION WHEN SHE STARTED IN 2011. IN A STATEMENT LANGENFELD SAYS “I AM HUMBLED AND INDEBTED FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE DISTRICT’S 21,000 STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE GREATER GREEN BAY AREA HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK.”
