MENOMINEE NATION ARENA WOMEN’S PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM

THE NAME AND SCHEDULE FOR THE NEW WOMEN’S PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM COMING TO THE MENOMINEE NATION ARENA HAVE BEEN RELEASED. THE NEW TEAM WILL BE CALLED THE WISCONSIN “GLO” AND WILL BE APART OF THE GLOBAL WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION. THE LEAGUE WILL BE COMPRISED OF 5 TEAMS WITH FUTURE EXPANSION OF UP TO 12 TEAMS COMPETING IN THE 2020 SEASON. THE SEASON WILL BE 12 GAMES LONG AND WILL RUN MAY-JULY, WITH PLAYOFFS BEING IN AUGUST. THERE WILL BE A LOCAL TRYOUT ON APRIL 20TH, 12PM-2PM, AND MORE INFORMATION ON THE TEAM INCLUDING STAFF AND PLAYERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON MARCH 11TH. SEASON TICKETS GO ON SALE THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 1ST.
