FEMA Disaster Recovery Center
The Federal Emergency Management Agency is opening a disaster recovery center in Oshkosh. South Park Middle School will serve as the site of the center, which allows home and business owners who sustained flood damage to meet with a FEMA representative in person. The center will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm everyday until further notice. Residents are encouraged to bring any receipts relating to the flood with them. It also helps if a claim has already been filed with FEMA over the phone at 1-800-621-FEMA or online at www.fema.gov. Residents from any county declared a disaster county can get help at the recovery center, including Winnebago, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Dodge, Calumet, Adams and 22 other counties.

Osprey Comes to Oshkosh
The controversial V-22 Osprey airplane will be coming to Oshkosh this month. The Osprey will be at the EAA AirVenture from July 28 through August 3. The Osprey has been plagued by crashes since it joined the Marine Corps in 1989, and some in Congress have called for it to be grounded and funding for it ended.
