APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Through agreements with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) students can transfer with ease.
On Tuesday morning, FVTC officials officially signed the agreement, which created two separate pathways for students to complete two years of general classes in Appleton.

Upon receiving an associate’s degree with 61 credits, FVTC students can transfer to either UW-Milwaukee or UW-Stevens Point in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree with junior standing.
UW-Milwaukee will guarantee admission for any FVTC associate’s degree holder, regardless of graduation year, as well as a transfer of at least 60 credits. There are 103 programs for a bachelor’s degree and 105 graduate programs.
The UW-Stevens Point agreement serves FVTC transfers with the ability to enroll in over 70 different bachelor’s programs, serving a wide variety of interests.
