GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – As the NFL season approaches, the official Packers’ airport is expanding service for fans looking to travel to and from games.
Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) released a statement with Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach that two airlines added nonstop flights to accommodate fans who want to visit Lambeau or with the Packers on the road.

“These added flights underscore the strength of our partnerships with the airlines and highlight how our community draws travelers from across the country,” Streckenbach said via the release. “Continued air service growth at GRB benefits both residents and visitors.”
American Airlines added nonstop flight services to and from GRB for the following three home games:
- A flight from Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) arrives on Thursday, September 11, and returns on Friday, September 12, for the Packers’ Thursday Night Football game against the Washington Commanders.
- A flight from Philadelphia International Airport on Monday, November 10, returning on Tuesday, November 11, for a Packers home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
- Two flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Saturday, November 1, with return flights on Monday, November 3, as the Carolina Panthers visit Lambeau Field.
Delta Airlines also added flights, with two games at Lambeau Field and for three Packers road games:
- One flight from DCA on Thursday, September 11, as the Packers host the Commanders, with the return date on Friday, September 12.
- One flight from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport that arrives on Saturday, October 11, while the Packers host the Bengals the day after, and a return flight on Monday, October 13.
- A flight that arrives in Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday, October 18, returning to GRB on Monday, October 20, for fans to travel and see the Packers visit the Cardinals.
- One flight from GRB on Saturday, October 25, as the Packers visit Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers for Sunday Night Football on October 26. The return flight to GRB from Pittsburgh International Airport is on Monday, October 27.
The release also mentioned that Delta upgraded one flight from Detroit with a larger plane to add more seats, allowing more fans to come to Lambeau Field as the Packers host the Lions for a season opener on Sunday, September 7. The flight arrives on Saturday, September 6, and returns to Michigan on Monday, September 8.
Director Marty Piette said in the release that the flights will benefit fans and the area as a whole greatly.

“These nonstop flights offer more options for fans, reduce travel time, and support local tourism and business,” Piette said via the release.
