The Latest from Storm Team 5…
It was nice to see temperatures back in the 70s and 80s this afternoon, but dew points have crept up into the not-so-comfy category.
Tonight, plan on an increase in clouds, and the rain should hold off for the most part. There is a chance of a late shower to the south. Lows will dip into the upper 50s and low 60s.
Tomorrow will be the coolest day for a while, with highs in the low to mid-70s. Cloudy skies and a few morning showers will give way to scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, mainly south and east of Green Bay in the afternoon and evening.
Thursday and Friday will be very similar to each other, featuring scattered showers and storms with high temperatures in the low to mid-80s.
Looking ahead to the weekend, a strong southwest wind will pump in the warmest air of the year. Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s paired with dew points in the mid-70s will push heat index values into the upper 90s to triple digits. It will be important to take necessary precautions.
