BERLIN, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin manufacturing company has announced it will permanently close one of its facilities, resulting in the layoff of dozens of employees.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), HyPro, Inc. will shut down its facility located at 546 S. Industrial Park Drive in Berlin.

Company officials cited unforeseen circumstances and a decision to consolidate operations as reasons for the closure.
The 24 employees impacted include four salaried and 20 hourly workers. Layoffs are expected to begin on or around the close of business on August 16, 2025, though some employees may stay on longer depending on business needs as operations wind down.
The WARN letter notes that the affected employees are not represented by a union, and bumping rights do not apply.
