Wisconsin State Fair releases Cream Puff lineup with chocolate flavor & contests

(WFRV) – The Wisconsin State Fair is on the horizon, and now, attendees can plan for their choice of iconic Cream Puffs during the annual 11-day celebration of the Dairyland State.

Officials from the Wisconsin State Fair revealed the lineup of the beloved sweet staples of the event, with the usual return of Original Cream Puffs and some additional flavors.

Chocolate Cream Puffs will be available on the menu for the entirety of the Wisconsin State Fair, alongside Celebration Strawberry Cream Puffs. In addition, there are some Cream Puff-themed events this year.

  • Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Competition – On August 7, the annual contest features various Wisconsin personalities who will compete for the crown in a quick and high-intensity competition.
  • Cream Puff Lovin’ Celebration – On the second-to-last day of the Wisconsin State Fair, attendees will be able to compete on-stage in a ‘Fairgoer’ Cream Puff Eating Competition.

Also, from Monday, August 4, through Friday, August 8, those who want more Cream Puffs can pick up orders from the State Fair’s drive-thru for at-home sweetness.

The 2025 Wisconsin State Fair kicks off on July 31, wrapping up on August 10.
