SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) – A 29-year-old Shawano man was federally indicted on Tuesday, June 17, on allegations that he used a minor to produce child pornography.
Richard Frohling, Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced in a release that Brandon Boogren faces nearly three decades in prison if convicted.

According to the release, Boogren in May 2019 allegedly created videos of himself and a two-year-old involved in sexual conduct. Boogren allegedly sent the images online to a person in Houston, Texas.
Boogren would face a minimum of 15 years in prison and up to 30 years if convicted, and/or a possible fine of up to $250,000.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office.
