OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – The City of Oshkosh has announced a new, yet familiar, location for its 2025 4th of July celebration.
This year’s annual 4th of July celebration will mark a return to Menominee Park but will be launched from a new location, Ames Point.
The Festival Foods Fireworks Show, set for July 4 from Ames Point, will offer a new perspective for those in attendance. Officials noted that the optimal viewing area for the show will be the lawn to the north of the ball diamonds along Menominee Drive, directly across from Ames Point.

In addition to the fireworks, attendees can enjoy a Food Truck Rally from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., where 20 food trucks will be located along Siewert Trail near Irving Avenue. Additionally, the Reetz Ball Diamond concessions will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
If the July 4 show is canceled due to rain or weather, a makeup date has been scheduled for Saturday, July 5.
The previous launch point was located at Monkey Island.
