KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) – The Kewaunee Public Library kicked off summer reading for preschoolers with a storytime event on Wednesday morning.
The Kickoff Summer Reading with Preschool Storytime event also featured donated wooden toy cars courtesy of Rick’s Toybox, Inc., a local non-profit that dedicates itself to helping children have a toy to call their own.

Rick’s Toybox, Inc. brought wooden toy cars for the children in attendance to decorate, design and race on a wooden track in an event that combined education with fun activities.
From stories and songs to snacks, the children were invited to learn and play, even while school isn’t in session.
