RACINE, Wis. (WFRV) – One person was arrested Wednesday night in southern Wisconsin after they shot a 54-year-old man in the neck, authorities say.
According to a release from the Racine Police Department, officers responded at 6:23 p.m. to the 1500 block of Carlisle Avenue for reports of someone being shot.

Once on the scene, police found a 54-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his neck. The 54-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officials say the suspected shooter was then identified and arrested.
