FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A 22-year-old Fond du Lac man was pronounced dead after authorities found an SUV engulfed in flames after a crash early Friday morning.
Officers with the Fond du Lac Police Department say they were called to a single-vehicle crash around 3 a.m. on Friday, June 20, at the intersection of South National Avenue and Deneveu Circle.

When first responders got to the scene, they found an SUV fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked quickly to put out the fire, and when the fire was under control, responders found one man unresponsive in the driver’s seat.
Officers have identified the driver as a 22-year-old man from Fond du Lac and noted that the investigation into the crash is in the preliminary stages.
