As temperatures rise into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s Skies clear in the afternoon. Showers have potential to return late in the night with a severe weather window between midnight and Saturday morning.
Some of the warmest weather of the year will arrive this weekend as we see temperatures reaching the mid 90s and heat indexes in the triple digits. Dew points will also be on the rise as we can expect some very muggy conditions. It is important to remember to stay hydrated and take breaks in cool areas as often as possible. Also be sure to check on others especially the elderly and those who live alone.
