The warmest air of the season will continue through the rest of the weekend with no cooling until Tuesday. High humidity also lingers as we feel muggy conditions also persist throughout the weekend. Heat indexes on Sunday are expected to reach between 95 and 100 degrees, giving a very tropical feeling as you walk out the door. The sky will remain mostly sunny throughout most of Sunday with no precipitation returning to the area until Monday night.
As the high heat continues it is urged that you stay hydrated, take breaks frequently as frequently as possible. Also be sure to check in on those who may not have AC, live alone, and especially the elderly.
