HARRIS, Mich (WFRV) – Due to inclement weather impacting the start of round two, the golfers teeing off later in the night weren’t able to finish their rounds, but a pair of them did enter the night with a two-shot lead.
Amari Avery, who held a share of the lead after day one, and Sarah White both closed out the night with eight-under par on their scorecards. The two of them, along with a majority of the field, will finish their rounds on Sunday morning before round three starts.
Trailing just behind the leaders were Sophia Schubert (six-under) and Laetitia Beck (five-under) who head into the final round still in contention.
