(WFRV)- While most of our record highs stood to see another day on Sunday, Green Bay warmed up to 94° on the afternoon of Sunday, June 22, 2025, tying the record set back in 1910. However, this was quite a vulnerable record, as Appleton’s record high was 99° set back in 1911 and Oshkosh’s was 98° set back in 1988.
Either way, it was quite a warm day in northeast Wisconsin, the second of three days with highs in the 90s. Heat index values reached the triple digits as well.
Late Sunday Evening, the National Weather Service in Green Bay released the warmest heat indices felt in northeast Wisconsin. On top of that, Storm Team 5 meteorologist Ryan Kudish tallied the warmest air temperatures observed for the day.
