JANESVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – A fourth person has died following the deadly shooting at a Wisconsin apartment complex earlier this month.
According to an update from the Janesville Police Department, the individual who suffered life-threatening injuries in the June 17 shooting at the Aspen Square Apartments in Janesville died Monday morning at a medical facility.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends affected by the tragic incident,” the department said.
Officers were dispatched at 11:04 a.m. on June 17 to a report of a family issue at an apartment on the 2600 block of North Pontiac Drive. While en route, dispatch received multiple calls reporting shots fired at the same location.

Inside the apartment, officers found four adult victims. Three were pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds. The fourth was critically injured and later died at the hospital despite life-saving measures performed at the scene.
