KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Kaukauna High School has announced the promotion of Ryan Bowers to head coach of the boys varsity basketball team.
A 2001 Kaukauna graduate, Bowers brings more than 18 years of coaching experience and a long-standing passion for the Ghosts basketball program and community.
Bowers has served in various roles within the program over the years, most recently as a varsity assistant coach. He was part of the coaching staff for Kaukauna’s WIAA Division 2 state championship teams in 2016 and 2018.
Known for his dedication to player development at all levels, Bowers has played a key role in the district’s youth basketball efforts.
He has led summer school basketball sessions, coached several Hoops Club youth teams, and directed annual skill development camps, including the Shooting Academy and the Dawg Days of Summer Basketball Camp.
“I’m honored to lead the Kaukauna Ghosts and build upon the strong foundation established by Coach Schalow,” Bowers said. “This program has shaped who I am, and I’m committed to guiding our student-athletes to success both on and off the court.”
