(WFRV) – As he enters the 2025 season on a one-year deal in Pittsburgh, former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers seems to be certain that it’ll also be the last NFL contract he signs.
On Tuesday morning, the four-time NFL MVP Rodgers said on the ‘Pat McAfee Show‘ that he’s “pretty sure this is it.”
Rodgers said on the show that the reason he signed a one-year deal with the Steelers was because of that, hinting that 2025 will likely be his final season in the NFL, after 20 years in the league.

Rodgers, of course, started his illustrious career in Green Bay as the backup and heir to Brett Favre, before leading the Green and Gold to a Super Bowl XLV win and hauling in a plethora of MVPs and ascending in Titletown lore.
If it is indeed his final season, the longtime Packer will finally play against his former employer for the first and only time in a Sunday Night Football game on October 26, 2025, in Pittsburgh.
