GALE, Wis. (WFRV) – A motorcycle driver in Wisconsin left a crash Saturday night with just a minor road rash, authorities say.
According to a release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 7:11 p.m. to reports of a motorcycle crash on McKeeth Drive near Copper Road in the Town of Gale.

Officials state that a woman driving a black Harley-Davidson encountered loose gravel and sticks in the middle of the roadway, causing the motorcycle to lose traction while navigating a sharp corner and skid into a ditch.
The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a protective helmet at the time of the crash and escaped the incident sustain only minor road rash.
The motorcycle was said to be removed from the scene under its own power by another party. No other information is available at this time.
