CALEDONIA, Wis. (WFRV) – A man in southeastern Wisconsin was arrested for his seventh OWI offense after allegedly stealing a pickup truck from an acquaintance of his.
Officers with the Caledonia Police Department reported being called to the 4500 block of Stonebridge Drive for an auto theft report around 11:50 p.m. on June 25.

The person filing the stolen vehicle stated that his pickup truck was taken between 9:30 and 10 p.m. by a ‘known acquaintance,’ and he wanted to pursue charges.
Shortly after, an officer found the truck traveling north on Douglas Avenue and conducted a traffic stop, ultimately leading to the arrest of the driver.

Officers say the man showed signs of intoxication and refused Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He was arrested on the following charges:
- Taking and Driving a Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent
- OWI – 7th Offense
- Operating After Revocation – Alcohol Related
The suspect was taken to the Racine County Jail. No additional information was provided.
