SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Shawano County are investigating a 24-hour string of vandalism incidents, which include damaged mailboxes, run-over stop signs, and a church.
Officers with the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office stated that they received numerous vandalism complaints from several incidents that have taken place within 24 hours between Friday and Saturday.

It was noted that the incidents included vandalism to a church in Bowler, intentionally ran over stop signs in Germania, and damage to mailboxes on the following roads:
- County Road A
- County Road G
- East Hazel Drive
- Hwy 45
- Hillview Road
- Mill Creek Road
“This behavior is unacceptable, and we will do our best to resolve this matter, but we need your help!” stated a Facebook post from the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone who may have experienced damaged property is asked to report it to the Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with relevant information on the suspect or suspects is asked to call Deputy Chase Mason at their non-emergency line or email at chase.mason@shawanocountywi.gov.
