The Latest from Storm Team 5…
After two rounds of rain moved through the area today bringing torrential rain, gusty winds and even some hail, we are looking at a fairly tranquil overnight.
Lows tonight will fall into the 60s. With clear skies, a light wind, and fresh rainfall, watching for some evaporation fog to develop overnight.
Tomorrow, a weak trough will dig in behind our departing storm system and that will likely flare up an isolated thunderstorm or two mid day into the afternoon. Otherwise, a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s and low to mid 80s. Severe weather is not expected.
Tuesday will be a dry, sunny, muggy and warm day. Expect highs to be in the low to mid 80s with dew points in the low to mid 60s.
Most of Wednesday looks dry, but watching a cold front to drop into the state, bringing with it some scattered showers and storms for the evening and overnight.
