FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A third person has been taken into custody following a vehicle and foot pursuit in Fond du Lac County early Monday morning.

The individual, believed to be a male passenger, reportedly escaped into a wooded area near Sales Road and Interstate 41. Deputies, along with help from community members, conducted an extensive search of the area but were unable to locate him at that time.
Later, a tip from a homeowner in northern Fond du Lac County indicated possible contact with the suspect. That tip led authorities to the Planeview Travel Plaza in Oshkosh, where the 33-year-old Shawano man was found and arrested without incident with help from the Oshkosh Police Department.
Authorities say the man was out on bond in both Outagamie and Shawano counties for prior fleeing and eluding offenses. He also had active warrants for failure to appear on charges including fleeing and first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
