GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Police Department released a reminder to boaters about upcoming restrictions and orders ahead of the Fourth of July celebrations in downtown Green Bay.
According to a release, the Marine Unit is enforcing a no-docking, mooring or operation of watercraft order at the following spots:
- Between the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge to train trestle north of Leicht Park
- Into the East River, east to the bridge on North Monroe Avenue
The orders will be from 6 p.m. until the end of the fireworks, with temporary no-docking signs posted. A safety zone will also be in place between the Bart Starr Memorial Bridge and Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge, while the Waterboard Warriors perform a ski show from 4-5 p.m.
Boat traffic will be prohibited from passing through with the short exception of a brief intermission halfway.
