A cold front dropping in from Lake Superior and central Canada is sparking scattered showers and storms in northern WI. Expect a chance for a passing shower or thunderstorm this afternoon and into the evening. Severe weather looks low but non zero with the main impacts being hail, gusty winds and brief downpours.
Besides that, clearing skies tonight with a low in the low to middle 60s.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny for much of the day. High temperatures in the upper 70s lakeside, lower to middle 80s inland with sticky dew points in the low to mid 60s. Most stay dry, however there is a small chance of a stray shower or storm south and west of Appleton in the afternoon.
Friday a warm front lifting across the state will bring a chance for an isolated thunderstorm for the morning, maybe early afternoon. Otherwise, expect highs to climb into the upper 80s and low 90s. Dew points in the lower 70s will yield heat indices in the middle 90s away from the water.
Saturday, increasing clouds with scattered evening and overnight showers and storms. High temperatures once again around 90, with dew points in the lower 70s. Another day with low to mid 90s feel like temperatures.
