GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A popular thrift store in Green Bay was open for its last day at its North Military Avenue location before a relocation in September.
AbleLight Thrift Store on 336 North Military Avenue hosted its final day at that location on July 3 ahead of a planned move to a new and improved building where they expect to reopen in September.
AbleLight was at the Military location for the past 47 years, but felt that they needed more space to better help the community.

“[We will be able to] offer more support to more,” began AbleLight Thrift Shop Store Manager Angelica Pfitzinger. “It’ll be a more open building, with donation drop-offs being a lot easier. [The new location] will be a bigger space where we can host more volunteer groups and day programs.”
The new store will be at 2269 True Lane in Ashwaubenon.
