GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The American Red Cross of Wisconsin hosted its 39th annual Super Donor Days Blood Drive on Thursday.
Donors got free sunglasses, a coupon for a pint of Kwik Trip ice cream, and an all-day water theme park ticket to Mount Olympus in the Wisconsin Dells.
Officials say these donations come at a time when they are very critical.

“You see a decrease in appointments over the summer when people are busy, and sometimes it’s hard to take that time to come out and donate,” said American Red Cross of Wisconsin Account Manager Amy Harmatys. “We really appreciate anybody who is taking the time out to come and donate. Blood supply can get to a critical level, and we want to keep it available for everybody that needs blood within our community and beyond.”
While the Super Donor Days Blood Drive is now over, anyone interested in donating can check with the Red Cross on where to donate.
