(WFRV) – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have announced that Brewers LHP Nestor Cortes will make a rehab assignment in Grand Chute on Tuesday, July 8 against South Bend at 6:40 p.m.
Cortes was placed on the 60-day injured list on April 21st with a left elbow flexor strain. This will be the 30-year-old’s second rehab appearance after pitching three innings with the Nashville Sounds (AAA) on Wednesday, July 2 as Cortes pitched three innings of shutout baseball, striking out four batters, and only allowing one hit.
Tuesday, July 8th’s Timber Rattlers’ game will also be ‘Bang For Your Buck Night’ where fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs, soda, and domestic beers.
