MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities reported no major injuries following a three-vehicle crash in Manitowoc just before midnight on the Fourth of July, where an SUV flipped onto its side.
Around 11:40 p.m. on Friday, July 4, the Manitowoc Police Department was alerted to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of North 8th Street and Waldo Boulevard in Manitowoc. It had been reported that one vehicle was on its side.

Authorities closed portions of Waldo and North 8th due to the crash that involved two SUVs and a pickup truck. It was noted that the crash only involved three adults, two from Manitowoc and one from Green Bay.
Officers determined, thanks to the help of witnesses, that the crash happened when a northbound SUV on North 8th entered the intersection of Waldo Boulevard and crashed with a westbound SUV. That collision reportedly caused the northbound SUV to flip and land on the hood of a pickup truck before rolling over on its side.

The driver of the SUV on its side, had to be helped out by first responders due to the damage to the SUV and its positioning.
All three drivers were evaluated at the scene by Manitowoc Fire and Rescue, and officers noted that no major injuries were reported.
It was also noted that neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected of being a factor in the crash.
