The Latest from Storm Team 5…
After the clouds and showers shifted east earlier this afternoon, it turned out to be a nice end to this holiday weekend with sunshine and highs int he 70s and 80s.
Tonight, expect mostly clear skies with lows in the low to mid 50s. A NE wind will continue to push the humid dew points to the south, so expect a comfy night as well. Give those A/Cs a well needed break!
Tomorrow, we finally here the words many of us have been waiting for. Mostly sunny, seasonal and comfy! High temperatures will be in the mid 70s lakeside, upper 70s and low 80s elsewhere with dew points staying under 60 degrees.
For Tuesday, a system working out of the Rockies will bring us two chances for rain and storms. The round for the morning will be our best chance along a broken line, followed by a second line of isolated pop up storms for the afternoon. Expect high temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s, and the muggy dew points to make a not so triumphant return.
The rest of the week looks uneventful besides a rain and storm chance returning later in the day on Friday.
