The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Besides a stray shower this morning, its now looking that the first half of today will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. As we head into the afternoon, there is a chance for a few scattered pop up thunderstorms. No severe weather, but a brief downpour and gust of wind can not be ruled out. If you get into a downpour, a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of rain is possible.
Highs today will top out in the mid 70s lakeside, upper 70s and low 80s for the rest of us. The humidity will climb back into the humid category, especially for the afternoon and evening.
Tonight, and early evening spotty storm is possible, otherwise look for some low clouds and patchy fog to develop late. Lows in the upper 50s and low 60s
Tomorrow will feature early clouds giving way to mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will cool off a few degrees, still mid 70s lakeside with upper 70s to around 80 away from the water. Humidity should not be much of a factor.
Another sunny, fairly comfy and quiet day for Thursday before showers and storms arrive for the back half of Friday, lingering for Saturday morning. Warm and muggy air makes a return Sunday going into Monday as highs warm close to 90 degrees.
