LA VALLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southwestern Wisconsin announced that a 46-year-old man died after a fireworks incident on July 5.
According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, on July 5, around 9:50 p.m., deputies were sent to a residence for a report of someone injured by a firework. When deputies got to the residence, a 46-year-old man was found with injuries.
Authorities say the man had injuries to the upper part of his body as well as a ‘significant’ injury to his wrist. The man was identified as Jeremiah Mcquistion.
Lifesaving measures were done by those at the scene, but were reportedly unsuccessful and Mcquistion was pronounced dead at the scene.
