LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – Bel USA is launching its production of The Laughing Cow cheese at its Little Chute facility, bringing more jobs to the area in the process.
The $10 million investment is meant to bring more jobs to the site and to work with local schools on creating the next generation of skilled traders.
The project is part of a broader $350 million investment initiative in collaboration with the White House.

“It’s always great as a plant manager to be able to bring new products in, bring new jobs in, especially a product line like this one that’s over 100 years old and is made in so many different countries and is so impactful for so many consumers,” said Plant Director Jason Meyer. “It means a lot to be able to see that project through from the beginning to the end.”
The expansion added 50 new jobs to the site, bringing its total to roughly 170.
Leadership from Bel’s American and French headquarters were present at Wednesday’s event.
