SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – Recovery efforts are underway for a water rescue after a teenager went missing in Sheboygan Tuesday afternoon, officials say.
According to a release from the Sheboygan Fire Department, a teen was reported missing at 2:09 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of Sheboygan’s Jaycee Quarry Park on 3401 Calumet Drive.
Officials say that at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Sheboygan Fire Department, assisted by the Sheboygan Police Department, Sheboygan Department of Public Works, Sheboygan County Dive Team, Green Bay Police Department, Calumet County Dive Team, Manitowoc County Dive Team, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, continued their recovery efforts for the missing teen.

Boats and divers are actively working in the area of the Quarry where the missing teen was last said to have been seen.
Recovery efforts are expected to continue throughout the day, depending on whether the weather and water conditions remain safe for rescue personnel.
