The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
What an active night of strong storms and flooding rains Wednesday! Funnel cloud reports are coming out of Fond du Lac County near Lamartine, and in Marquette County in Westfield. Observed tornado reports were just south of our TV news market in Fox Lake (near Beaver Dam) and Hustisford, both in Dodge County.
Many reports of flooding came in from the southern half of the area as well, as 1 to 3 inches of rain soaked the ground, with pockets of heavier rain where 3 to 5 inches of total rain came down in just about 6 hours or less. The most flooding occurred near the lakeshore in Manitowoc/Sheboygan counties, the communities surrounding Lake Winnebago, and further west near Wautoma in Waushara County.
