The Latest from Storm Team 5…
What a beautiful day it has been to end the work week with high temperatures just a hair under our seasonal average with sunshine and the absence of humidity.
For tonight, expect the clouds to thicken up and while there is a chance of a passing shower, that should hold off until after midnight tonight. Lows will fall into the low 60s, but our dew points will likely start to trend upwards overnight.
Tomorrow, scattered showers and storms will likely make their way through during the morning to around the lunch hour. While there is a chance for a spotty shower or storm for the afternoon, most stay dry with a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 70s.
Sunday will be the best day of the weekend without a doubt. Mostly sunny skies will mix with upper level wildfire smoke drifting in from the north. The smoke should stay mainly elevated. Highs in the upper 70s once again and we do catch a break from the humidity.
Monday, a big day here in northeast Wisconsin with the start of EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh! The forecast calls form mostly sunny skies with highs around 80s. Highs do step up into the low to mid 80s and that will introduce the chance for rain and storms mid week. Check back in later on the timing, it is uncertain at this time.
