GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Police Department arrested a 44-year-old man who they say has a ‘known weapons history’ on Sunday after he allegedly fled a traffic stop on Friday.
A release sent out through the GBPD’s Facebook page on Sunday, July 20, states that its Patrol Division, SWAT Team, and Crisis Negotiation Team helped to arrest the wanted man at a residence in the 800 block of Columbia Avenue.
Arrest made in shooting at Pulaski’s Memorial Park after large fight involving knife
Officers say the 44-year-old Green Bay man was wanted for allegedly fleeing an attempted traffic stop near Vroman Street and Mather Street on Friday, July 18.
On Sunday, officers found him at a residence at 10 a.m. and he was taken into custody by 1:45 p.m.
No additional information was provided.
