The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Its been a beautiful day to kick off Day 1 of EAA in Oshkosh. For tonight, while I cant rule out a stray shower early, it should be a quiet night with comfy dew points and a low in the upper 50s to around 60.
Tomorrow, plan for a mixture of sun and clouds with the humid air returning as dew points will reach the tropical category. Highs will push into the low to mid 80s, with upper 70s lakeside.
A weak disturbance will track along the Wisconsin/ U.P. border, and while most will stay dry, a stray storm far north can not be ruled out. For most, cloud coverage will increase for a brief time and the winds might get a bit breezy.
Wednesday, first day of Packers Training Camp, and start with non severe storms in the morning, but skies should open up in the afternoon. That will push highs into the upper 80s and low 90s, feeling like the triple digits for some with dew points in the 70s.
Wednesday late evening and night, those around HWY 8 should be aware of some strong storms working in along a cold front. For the night air show at EAA, its should remain dry.
Scattered storms are expected for Thursday and with high heat and humidity, strong to possibly severe storms are possible.
