FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say two men were recently arrested during a traffic stop in which a Fond du Lac County deputy recovered two firearms, including one that was reported stolen.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, during a recent traffic stop, deputies seized a Glock 17 firearm and a Glock 43X, both of which were said to be obtained illegally.

The Glock 17 firearm recovered has a modified sear to make the pistol automatic, and was also entered as stolen through the Milwaukee Police Department.
Officials say one of the men arrested in the traffic stop was a felon who was convicted of both possession with intent to deliver illegal drugs and violent crime (substantial battery).
The second man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. Both men are from Milwaukee but claim to have recently moved to Fond du Lac.
No other information is available, and Fond du Lac County deputies are working with the ATF and the Milwaukee Police Department in an ongoing investigation of the incident.
