SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Sheboygan say two men are hurt after alcohol was a likely factor in a two-vehicle crash Monday night.
According to a release from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 9:54 p.m. to reports of a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Sheboygan on Lakeshore Road near Willow Creek Lane.
Officials say a car heading south on Lakeshore Road, driven by a 52-year-old Sheboygan man, was attempting to turn when it crashed into a northbound car.

The driver of the northbound car, a 23-year-old Sheboygan man, was taken from the scene via Flight for Life with serious injuries. The 52-year-old Sheboygan man suffered just minor injuries.
Deputies say the speed of the northbound vehicle, along with alcohol, and the failure to yield all appear to be factors in the crash.
The 52-year-old man was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – causing injury. No other information is available as the incident remains under investigation at this time.
