The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Its been a warm and muggy day once again, seems like that has been the norm around here recently! For this evening, there is a chance for a pop up thundershower up north, but most stay dry.
Overnight, expect partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 60s and the humidity will exit as well as a NE pushes the humidity out slowly overnight.
The aforementioned NE wind will also drag in wildfire smoke that will start impacting the area tonight but more so tomorrow. An AIR QUALITY ALERT has been issued for all of Wisconsin from the DNR until noon on Thursday. Avoid spending long durations of time outside if you are sensitive to the smoke.
Besides some early hazy sunshine, clouds will build in tomorrow ahead of our next chance for showers tomorrow afternoon. The rain, while light, will favor areas south of Green Bay. The bigger story will be that the humidity will be gone along with the heat. Highs in the upper 70s, with dew points in the comfy upper 50s.
Thursday begins a run of very sunny, comfy and quiet weather as a ridge of high pressure works overhead. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s and dew point temperatures will stay in the comfy 40s and 50s. Next rain chance appears to hold off until middle of next week.
