PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (WFRV) – Two men are now in custody on multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Wisconsin on Tuesday.
Fond du Lac woman attacked with knife, suspect arrested following high-risk traffic stop
According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies carried out a traffic stop on July 29 in Prairie du Chien, with K9 Diego getting deployed during the stop.
Officials say K9 Diego alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the vehicle. Deputies then searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine and several other items of drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, 52-year-old Christopher Myers, and the passenger, 35-year-old Calvin Uhrich, both from La Crosse, were arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail on the following charges:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
