GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay held its annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive on Wednesday, hoping to help children start the academic year with a bang.
Representatives from the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay gathered at the three Walmarts across the Green Bay area from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., collecting items as parents and their children head to the superstore to grab their supplies.
New London Middle School’s Kindness Class spreads joy with lemonade
Items varied from backpacks, crayons, glue sticks, writing utensils and plenty of other necessities. All of the donated items will directly impact local families through the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay’s One Stop School Shop event.
Those who were unable to make it to their local Walmart can still drop off donations through August 1 at the Salvation Army Corps Community Center at 626 Union Court.
