DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Counting Stars Inc., a local nonprofit that provides inclusive, community-based programming for children with differing abilities, held a ribbon-cutting Tuesday to celebrate its new location on Eisenhower Drive in De Pere.
The De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Green Bay Chamber joined the celebration, which included guided tours of the facility. Community members, local leaders, and supporters gathered to learn more about the organization’s mission and impact.

“Counting Stars is starting its second year in providing for children with differing abilities and their families in and around Brown County,” said Jennifer Bourget, executive director and founder of Counting Stars. “We have been blessed to break down barriers and provide exciting community-based experiences for kiddos ages 5–17. We have had a busy and fun summer in our new space here in De Pere.”
Counting Stars offers a range of enrichment activities and programs aimed at fostering connection, confidence, and joy for children with differing abilities. The new De Pere location marks a major step forward in expanding the organization’s reach and services in Brown County.
