After reportedly sending Nestor Cortes to San Diego, Milwaukee is adding a left-handed pitcher and a right-hander from the National League West.

Both are veteran arms who have bounced around the league, especially in recent years. Montgomery has not pitched in the majors this year as he’s on the 60-day injured list, while Miller has shone out of the bullpen with a 1.98 earned run average in 36.1 innings of work in
