The Latest from Storm Team 5…
While the sunshine was today, the wildfire smoke was still a concern out there today, staying in the ‘Unhealthy for all’ category. The AIR QUALITY ALERT has been extended until noon on Friday.
Tonight, we will see the smoke thin out, leading to clearer skies. Lows tonight will get cool for this time of year in the upper 40s across the far north, low 50s for most.
Tomorrow will be a gorgeous day, mainly sunny skies that will appear hazy at times, especially late as another plum of smoke targets the area. Highs in the mid 70s lakeside, upper 70s to around 80 inland.
With a light and variable wind field, wildfire smoke will likely linger to start the weekend. Highs will get a touch warmer, reaching the lower 80s with the humidity staying low still. Looking great overall for Family night on Saturday evening at Lambeau!
Wildfire smoke will likely exit the area by Sunday, leaving us with mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low to mid 80s. We keep the sunny, dry and comfy weather around until the mid part of the week where the muggy air makes a return. Rain chances do not look likely any time soon, maybe a stray shower Tuesday and Wednesday but that’s about it.
