GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers’ annual Family Night may be inside Lambeau Field, but the celebration started hours earlier across the street in the Titletown District.
Thousands of fans packed the area Saturday afternoon for Family Fest, an outdoor event featuring food trucks, games, and activities for all ages.

“Today is our annual family fest, which means football is back for the season,” Titletown Events Manager Jessica Dickhut said. “This kicks off everything leading into fall, and this is a family favorite event.”
For many families, the event offered a chance to enjoy the stadium atmosphere without the cost of a ticket. Johnathan Poulos of Kenosha brought his children for their first visit to Lambeau.
“They do a lot for the families with free experience for everyone, keeping it cost-effective for every family, especially in today’s day,” Poulos said. “It’s nice to be able to do that and give back to the community like that.”
The festivities also marked a milestone for first-time visitors.
“I’m excited to do this, I’m excited to go into the stadium,” Lexington Lovejoy of Janesville said. “I’ve never been here before — first NFL stadium.”
While the Packers capped off the night with their annual Family Night scrimmage, organizers say the afternoon festival is just as important.

“My favorite part is the football excitement that comes from all of this,” Dickhut said. “I know it’s hot and sunny right now, so it does not feel like football weather, but there is a buzz today in our footprint and over at Lambeau as well about the excitement for the football season.”
From first-timers to lifelong fans, Family Fest gave Packers Nation a chance to warm up before the season kicks off.
